Surfing the waves of Life

​A lot of us will say, "It’s a new day! Smile, be happy, call someone you love today." But I say: it is the same you, the same them, the same hate you carry in your heart, the same love you give, the same happiness you feel, and the same decisions you made. ​It’s just you, surfing life. ​I tend to see life as continuous rather than day-by-day. Weird, right? Please forgive my rubbish writing—my heart just yearns to say these things, so read on if you feel I’m wrong. But in other words, what is the right way to continue life? ​You have that crazy breakdown, and you think it’s over. How do you get up and go? Like I think Milo will say—how do you push back the thought of having to restart something you’ve already started? Does it really feel like a restart, or a continuation? ​For me, as someone who doesn't see life day-by-day but as a constant continuity, I say: continue from where you stopped. Even if that means leaving behind that one toxic thing. Yes, it may be a beginning to something positive, but inasmuch as you don't start aging all over again—just keep going. ​I don't know if your mind can grasp the words I write. Call me a low-budget Shakespeare, lol. But either way: keep going. Continue living. Continue chasing that one thing you desire
