OUR FLAG OF BLOOD (An independence not so happy)
The blood of men filled the lands for they stood and bled for honour and respect. They held the flags which was supposed to protect them yet they died in the ground of their own land so few could shed tears. Our past heroes didn’t lie when they said they would only build prisons Our country failed when education became difficult to access. Her savage tears broke godly kings into primary beings with eyes that tore down worlds; making the essence of beauty for the universal code as the divine command the galaxies into twists. Mortals can’t see beyond their dream world, selfish a place built as a prison to feed the urge of death's unsatisfied appetite. It is now an open secret Black people do not have peace on their shoulders, They just have injustice on their backs And justice on their minds, And now we know that the road to liberty Is as long as the road from slavery pick ur way narrow or broad . We are not talking about love or revenge We are not talking about principalities or possibilities, We are talking about what to do now We are talking about how to live now In dis state Under dis flag, (God Save Nigeria ), I still desire Education if only I could get a push up And God save all the young men and older women Who are like the infant who knows nothing of this world Happy Independence Day but our freedom is still yet to come Celebration of celebrities and leaders dat only diminish the true meaning of Nigeria N which stands for Nurturing A land that nurtures dreams and grows greatness from humble beginnings. I – Innovative From tech to art, to dance Nigeria pulses with creative force and fresh ideas. G – Gifted Rich in talent from voices that sing to hands that build. E – Empowering Rising strong through challenges, empowered by resilience, will and sapa. R – Rebirth From pain comes purpose a nation constantly reborn, in strength though time and trials may bend her, but never break her spirit. I – Inspiring Her stories, people, and culture inspire across continents. A – Abundant In culture, in people, in heart — Nigeria overflows with abundance. so this is my message we can't keep screaming happy independent day when we ourselves aren't independent. how about Happy Rebranding Day.
