Pen and Acrylic on Paper
This piece is a visual diary entry from a moment I couldn’t quite articulate in words. A quiet collision between mind and metaphor. The seated figure represents a self in stillness, not by choice, but by surrender, a moment of internal pause amidst the chaos. The bird, offering a feather, is both muse and message. It's the quietest form of communication: soft, strange, yet deeply intimate.
The disassembled head? That’s me, fractured but aware. It’s the feeling of having your thoughts float in orbit, while you sit grounded, feeling every weight and wonder of being alive. The moon and sun coexist in the backdrop like emotional weathers, always shifting but ever-present.
Every line is deliberate, no take-backs. Acrylic added the dreamscape, letting my surreal side leak out. This piece isn’t about answers. It’s about tenderness toward confusion, about letting something wild and beautiful (like a hummingbird) feed you a truth you didn’t know you were hungry for.
It’s personal, weird, and real—just like me.
