The rain fell like a thousand questions from the sky.
A man walked beneath it, carrying silence on his shoulders.
Each drop struck his skin like a memory refusing to die.
The road became a mirror, reflecting the storms he hid inside.
His footsteps whispered stories the thunder could not drown.
Behind him, puddles gathered the footprints of yesterday.
Before him, the road disappeared beneath a curtain of grey.
Still, he walked—as though hope had taught his feet a language.
The wind tugged at his shirt, begging him to turn back.
But his heart was a small fire refusing to surrender to water.
He had lost people, dreams, and pieces of himself along the way.
Yet every raindrop washed another layer of fear from his face.
The clouds were not burying the sun; they were only hiding it.
So he lifted his eyes toward the darkness and kept moving.
For sometimes, a man does not walk through rain to escape the storm
he walks through it to discover what in him cannot be drowned.
