what's the point of having so much beauty without love?
I looked for love upon the waves of the waters.
the cool breeze from the trees didn't entice me,
nor did the chirps of the birds sing love songs to me.
the golden rays from the sun didn't reduce my disarrayed thoughts,
but rather made them shine through me more.
and I begin to think;
why have so much beauty with no one to behold it?
why wake up daily with no purpose but sparkling feathers?
A swan without a lover.
