My end

Just a dead man writing my heart out

O, fairest Death, thou dost entwine
With Love's sweet tendrils, a fatal design
A dance of lust, a waltz of kindness true
Yet, in thy shadows, hatred's darkness brews
Thy gentle touch, a lover's caress cold
Doth bring an end to passions young and old
The flame that once burned bright with love's desire
Now flickers out, a dying ember's fire
Yet, in thy darkness, a strange kindness lies
A release from pain, a soothing, silent sigh
The hatred that once burned, a fire that did rage
Now dwindles down, a smoldering, dying age
O, Death, thou art a mystery, a twisted fate
A union of love and lust, a bond that doth create
A paradox of kindness and hatred's darkest night
A dance, a waltz, a final, fatal delight
