His Obsession

Heated arguments filled the house of Mr. and Mrs. Lane. "I made the biggest mistake by marrying you!" a voice shouted. "Oh, you think you did me a favour, don't you? You are a fool!" another voice shouted back. In a corner of the room, little Asher stood crying. Her parents' endless fights ruined her pretty face with tears every single time. Beep! Beep! Beep! Asher's eyes flew open. It was only a dream. "Oh no! It had to be Monday again," she groaned, and let out a big yawn. She glanced at the clock. "Jeez! 8 a.m.?" Asher jumped out of bed as if the world had ended. She tidied up quickly and dashed outside, leaving a loud bang on the door.
