A BOND-BROKEN

As silence lingers, night consumes the day In shadows where our laughter used to play Fragments of trust lie scattered on the floor Each piece,a memory of before Holding on Lingering on Yet,Trust;bruised, broken;severed. Words that once flow like river now stumble and fall, The weight of unspoken words echoes, The spark,a thing of the past, No chance to rebuild nor ignite the spark. A bridge too far to cross.
