Rain, rain
Rain, rain, go away it is now pain, pain, fade away. How does a child wey know nothing pass sand play become a comrade, facing battles on a life field? The one wey once ran freely with a pant now runs multiple tasks. That child who sang, “I see the moon,” no longer knows the color of the sky at night. The twinkle, twinkle little stars no longer know how they are. But if I may ask how does a life trade lullabies for echoes in the twinkle of an eye? A child with laughter becomes a man with ties. An infant with a diaper is now a mother. A soul who dreamed of becoming a doctor now treats the wounds of childhood. If only we could trade our worries for the simplicity of being a child. If only I could see the moon when it sees me back.
